About Christine Johnston
I have the BEST job ever! The goal of my treatments are to support the human body's marvelous ability to heal itself; alleviating painful and uncomfortable symptoms for people of all ages.
My journey to Osteopathy has been a whindy one... but anything worthwhile usually is. I attended the University of Guelph and pursued a career in the legal field. Yearning for a change and with appreciation for alternative treatments, exercise and good nutrition, I became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2007. I am certified with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and am a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario.
I have completed 5 years of Osteopathic training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, received a Diploma in the Science of Osteopathy (D.Sc.O) and a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP). I am an active member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO). I proudly accepted the William Garner Sutherland, DO Award for my thesis which studied the effects of global osteopathic treatment on children with crossed eyes.
Personally, I love being active and incorporating exercise and health into my daily activities. I enjoy music, gardening and hanging out with my beautiful family.
